Dr Chris Stanley (Natural History Museum, London) has up-dated the Quantitative Data File for reflectance values of minerals (November 2013). The file can be downloaded can now be downloaded using the link Quantitative Data File.
He has put together an easily searchable compilation of the COM wavelengths which he is distributing for free.
There are four sheets in the Excel database. Sheet 1 is the principle searchable database with more than 1000 datasets.Column A is a hyperlink to Mindat. Columns B,C,D,E,F will be hyperlinks to images in a later edition. Columns G,H,I,J are the COM data (basically you can take your data for unknown mineral at 546 nm, then using the other wavelengths to narrow down your search). Column K is the mineral name (conforming to IMA nomenclature). Column L is the chemical formula (mostly using the latest IMA list). Column M is the reference. Sheet 2 is an explanation of how to use the database. Sheet 3 is a listing of soon to be published minerals and some missing datasets. Sheet 4 is the same as for sheet 1 but in alphabetical order.
